Simply put the Fal River is a foodie’s heaven.
In the summer, head down to one of Falmouth’s waterfront pubs and enjoy a pint and bite to eat while sitting on the waters edge watching the world go by. I can recommend The Chainlocker, Quayside and The Front on Custom House Quay. I also advise friends to head up to the Boathouse which enjoys panoramic harbour views and a great menu.
For a special occasion or evening meal, Smugglers Cottage on the upper Fal River is a favourite, alternatively Indaba on the Beach takes some beating on a sunny day, overlooking the turquoise waters of Falmouth Bay.
