Cycle: Light for 102 minutes at 60° C then 18 minutes of light and watering. Discussion: The two thermoplastic panels, black and white, were exposed for 8000 hrs. in the xenon-arc radiation. The following results were observed:
• Gloss: 63% retention for both the black and white panels (above 50%)—PASS• Color: minimal change following the exposure (8000 hrs.) with a ΔE = 3. PASS
Conclusion : Both thermoplastics black and white have very good stability under the xenon-arc.
