Findings…Findings… Most of the respondents used ATM facility (90% of them availed this facility.)
Respondents were using the ATM facility of private banks more than the public sector banks.
Most of the respondents were satisfied by the ATM facility being used by them.
Most of the respondents feel that the benefit of the ATM card is that it comes handy When cash is needed urgently.
60% of the respondents faced using the ATM faced no problem in using the ATM while 40% of respondents faced a problem while using the ATM.
The major problem faced by the respondents while availing ATM card facility was the ATM was not working and the second common problem was that the card got withheld in the machine.
Suggestions…Suggestions… Take care of your ATM or debit card.
Choose a PIN for your ATM or debit card that’s different from your address, telephone number, social security number, or birthdates.
Keep and compare your receipts for all types of EFT transactions with your periodic statements.
Security should be tightened and information should be protected from hackers & sniffers.
Professionals and trained personnel should always be recruited for proper system of
authorization.
Internet applications should be easy to use so that everyone can take proper advantage of the facilities being provided.
Demonstration should be provided regarding the use of ATM’s because people are still not very much aware of E-banking.
