EmploymentGraduates are expected to obtain
jobs such as Plantation Technicians on quail plantations, The Department of Natural Resources Technician 1 or 2, or in the private sector as field technicians.
Starting Salaries vary depending on location and organization.
Salary Range: $18,000 – 30,000

computers, etc.) Then 3 semesters of wildlife-related courses.
Courses include: Introduction to Wildlife & Plantation Management, Plantation Operations, Equipment Operation, Habitat Manipulation, Fisheries Management, Dendrology, etc.

To become a game warden in the state of Georgia, a test is required. Those who score highest move on to the next stage of interviews. An Associate degree is required.
What will be expected of me once I graduate and have a job in the wildlife field?When you graduate, you will be considered a Wildlife
Technician. You will operate tractors and associated implements, operate chainsaws, prescribe burn, guide hunters, train dogs, create food plots, track wildlife inventories, maintain grounds and many other various duties.
