1: Remove housing lid using a filter “strap-wrench”. Do not damage as lid is to be used again.2: Remove and discard filter, “O” ring and bevel cut gasket.3. Clean mating face for bevel cut gasket, apply film of diesel fuel to gasket and fit to housing.4: Apply film of diesel fuel to “O” ring and fit to filter element then fit new filter to housing.5: Fit lid to housing slowly (allow fuel to soak into element) Tighten until lid contacts housing body.
