Flexible Registration Banner vs. Flexible Registration Catalogs
• Banner Catalog– Credit, Non-Credit and Community Education courses are created and
maintained in the Banner Catalog module• Flexible Registration ‘Catalogs’
– Community Education sections are created and maintained in the Banner Schedule module
– Existing class sections can be selected to create Flexible Registration ‘Catalogs’
– Flexible Registration catalogs access:• Open-ended available to any customer• Password protected only available to customers with password
information
• Define multiple catalogs specific to Flexible Registration processing
• Allows creation of links to individual catalogs with different sections in each
• Mark specific catalogs as secured, requiring a password to view catalog sections
• Provide ‘Shopping Cart’ functionality to add and remove class sections prior to checkout
• Registration error checking is performed to notify students of time conflicts, closed sections, duplicate sections or holds
• Ability to build a schedule and look at meeting patterns before finalizing schedule

Flexible RegistrationFee Assessment, Discounting and Payments
• Baseline Fee Assessment is used to calculate fees during checkout
• Fee attached to class sections will display as course base price
• Discounts are rule-based and can be applied to all courses, or specified courses in the Flexible Registration Catalogs
• Learners may pay registration fees by Credit Card or Purchase Orders
• Learners can review schedules, print invoice, and review transactions of their prior invoices
