FORTPIERCE–JohnCarrollHighSchoolisproudtoannouncethatitsstudentsexcelledintheirAdvancedPlacement(AP)coursetestingthisyear. JohnCarrollisanAPCapstoneschool.APcoursesprovidecollege-levelworktohighschoolstudents,whomayreceivecollegecreditforthesecourses.APcoursesareknownfortheirchallengingcurricula,butwhatismostremarkableishowwellJohnCarroll’sstudentsperformeddespitelearningandtestingremotelyduringtheCOVID-19pandemic. DuetoCOVID-19,theformatofallAPexamswereradicallychangedatthelastminute,andAPstudentsacrossthecountrytooktheirAPexamsathomeontheircomputers.OfJohnCarroll’sstudentsenrolledintheAPSeminarandAPResearchclassesthatarepartofthecapstoneprogram,100%passedtheirrespectiveAPexams.
