The clearance inbetween the flange bore Table 1, d4 and the flange head diameter Table 4, d10
should be 0,5 mm on both sides (in total 1 mm) for size DN 63 up to DN 80 - like for size DN 70.
The actual clearance of DN 63 and DN 80 is 3,5 / 2,5 mm and therefore much too large.
The clearance should be reduced to the recommended clearance.
The flange bore diameters Table 2, d4 are confirmed.
Therefore, the flange head diameters of size DN 63 and DN 80 should be increased.
Show test results for new flange heads. Also information on what happens if old heads are used since OD is same.

The diameter d9 has been changed within - 0,7/+0,2 mm. This has no significant impact on the working pressures. Size DN 51 was increased by 0,2 mm and DN 80 by 0,1 mm. The sizes DN 25, 51 and 80 will be tested.

The torques should be reduced on some sizes to achieve more reserve to the yield strength of the 10.9 screws. The test assemblies confirmed that reduced torques work sufficient and target burst pressure ratings can be achieved without problems.
Based on the test results it is proposed to change the torques as follow:
DN 25: from 65Nm to 55Nm
DN 51: from 280Nm to 220Nm
DN 56: from 480Nm to 440Nm
DN 70: from 890Nm to 750Nm

During the screw tightening for the burst tests it was recognized that on size DN 25 the gap that should be left between the port face and the flange clamp after assembly is very small (see photo at the end of the comment table) compared to the other tested sizes.
Based on the test results it is proposed to increase the flange head shoulder length ―l10‖ for DN 25 and DN 32 by 0,5 mm:
DN 25: from 9.5mm to 10.0mm
DN 32: from 10.3mm to 10.8mm
