Agenda• Failures - Due to too much freedom
How to recognize failure as a lack of discipline, doing the wrong things in general wasting time.
• Successes - Setting goals, taking responsibilityHow to set realistic goals, take responsibility, and with failures take feedback as lessons learned for the future.
• Adopting Best Practices - Why reinvent. There are others who have gone before you who have struggled with the same thing. Use their knowledge and wisdom. Being a maverick works in somethings, not everywhere.
• Today - Because we learned. Today, we use a combination of our best lessons learned and others’ best ideas with a combination of tools that are already out there.

Failures - Due to too much freedom
• “Do what you want”It doesn’t work. There needs to be leadership that sets the agenda.
• “On your time”It doesn’t work. Deadlines need to be followed.
• “Not doing it is okay”Not doing something because someone is “busy” doesn’t work.

• OKR - Objectives / Key Results by John DoerrWhat worked for Intel, works for Google, will work for you.
• Making Ideas Happen by Scott BelskyBasically a simpler way to do GTD. Everything is a project with actions, a backlog, and references.
