a Punch-cutter publisher who

was born In the 1480’s in Par-

is.Garamond was established

in the 1540’s and was known

to be one of the first Greek

type faces that was crated

for the French King Francis I.

Garamond is a contemporary

font even though its classifica-

tion is old style, however it’s

widely used today. Garamond

has been revived and many of

the Adobe programs carry the

new ugraded designed type-

faces of the Garamond family.
