2 Gin Gin Neighbourhood Centre Community Care News
Hello, I’m Sharon. I have been the Library Co-ordinator at Gin Gin Library for nearly 3 years and have lived in Gin Gin for 17 years. My husband and I have 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren and we are very lucky that they all live within an hour of us. I enjoy camping, keeping fit, cooking from scratch, live theatre and, of course, reading. I love my job at the library which provides so much variety and the opportunity to work with community members.

The Hatching Day was a huge success with around 200 children enjoying the free activities at Dear Street Park. Children and adults were excited to witness twin crocodiles hatching from the Reading Egg and early next year there will be a naming competition for them. It was great to see the community really coming together to support this special literacy project.
