eachraise$4—thecostofoneweekendbackpack.EveryoneofourFalconfriendswill be feeding a hungry child. If they can do it, so can you! TheremarkablesuccessoftheSkyValleyFoodBankisareflectionoftheever-increasingdedicationandenthusiasmofourvolunteers.Ourworkhereisdoneasateamandasafamily. Ourvolunteersenjoy being together, and they not only take care of our clients, but also each other. I encourage all of you to stop by and join us for an hour,aday,orquitepossibly,alifetime!Comeseeforyourselfthemeaningof“NeighborsHelpingNeighbors.”IwishIcouldnameeachandeveryvolunteerandtellyouwhat
theydoandhowtheycontributetoourmission.However,spaceislimitedanditwouldprobablybethesizeofanovel!Letmejustsayamazingworkisdoneherebyourvolunteers.Togiveyouafewmorenumbers,everyweekthousandsofpoundsoffoodarelifted,hundredsofclientsareserved,anddozensoftrucksareunloaded.Butnumberscan’tcounttherippleeffectofall the livesthataretouchedbywhatourvolunteersdohereeveryday,startingwithmine!Ivalueeachandeverypersonwhograciouslydonatestheirtime and talent to make Sky Valley Food Bank a success, and IsincerelythankeachandeveryvolunteerforthehoursyougivetomakeMonroeagreatplacetoliveforallofus!
