GOIZUETA E.N.G.A.G.E.WOMEN’S CONFERENCE
Expanding the Narrative on Gender Affirmation and Genuine Equality
2017
Greetings,
Welcome to #GoizuetaENGAGE 2017! I am very excited that we have again brought together men and women from various backgrounds to have important conversations around gender equality.
The #GoizuetaENGAGE conference, now in its second year, was born of the WE:ENGAGE Initiative – a focus on educating women on opportunities stemming from business education. Our school has taken a stand on this issue, committing to dialogue in support of women in industry and higher education as a whole, including graduate schools across Emory University.
I believe there is power in bringing like-minded people together for a common cause. We all want to see more women in the classroom, create welcoming environments for learning and empower women to advance their careers.
For #GoizuetaENGAGE 2017, we’ve prepared a wonderful lineup of alumni panelists, faculty thought leaders and keynote speakers, and again are supported by great organizations like Delta Air Lines, FedEx, Mercedes-Benz USA, PwC, and LinkedIn.
This conference does more than highlight various stories of success and help advance careers. Today, we seek to spark deep thoughts and inspire meaningful action. Today, we will plant the seeds for thoughtful conversation and collaboration.
Enjoy the conference!
