GOLDENEYE
GOLDENEYE
GOLDENEYEThe Goldeneye field ceased production in 2011. The Goldeneye platform and pipeline have been studied as part of a carbon capture and storage project, sourcing CO2 from Peterhead Power Station. In November 2015, the UK Government announced, as part of its Comprehensive Spending Review, all funding for the Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) Commercialisation Competition was cut. The Goldeneye Operator and owners will consider plans to decommission the facilities in light of the Government's announcement.
