What you will study
In the hospitality/tourism major, you will take 9 credits in grade 11 and 12:
• 4 hospitality/tourism major credits • 1 English credit, 1 math credit and 1 credit of either science or hospitality/tourism, each with units focused on hospitality/tourism• 2 co-operative education credits to gain workplace experience that helps you refine, extend and practice your business knowledge and skills • experiential learning, career exploration and reach-ahead activities in business• 6 sector-recognized certifications and training programs, including customer service, first aid, CPR and hazardous materials
