Writing consistently in one tense - continued
The following paragraph is inaccurate as it is using more than one tense. Correct it so that it is written in the correct tense throughout.
As I stared up at the rides, I couldn’t believe my eyes. The kaleidoscope of colours that swirling manically before me, was mesmerising. I run rapidly to join the gigantic queue that snake across the park and stand, waiting excitedly in the sunshine. As I crane my neck upwards, I suddenly felt panic as the loops look a lot bigger close up. My legs feel week and my heart hammering in my chest. I struggling to swallow and my mouth dry up. I ask myself, would I survive?
