JAMMU AND KASHMIR•Political turmoil - leading to closer of schools for long period
•Collapse of transport in winter and unheated schools - leading to poor attendance
•Lack of qualified and trained teachers
•These factors affect the academic standard of students.
Why Educational Programs ?
The program would be a means of striking a dialogue with students and teachers, and through them the parents and general population
To provide exposure to students and fresh resource inputs to teachers.
To generate interest in science subjects and cultivate proactive problem solving ability in students.
Address the low academic standard in remote regions.

Hands-on Science experiments and Science Toys
Activities based on natural, environmental, and social sciences

Volunteers are exposed to diversity of our nation in ecology, ethnicity and life style
It provides an opportunity to youths and students from different regions of India to establish bonds through shared experiences and knowledge.

Team Size : 3 to 6
Duration : 12 – 15 Days
“Orientation-cum-Training” program at EARC, JnanaPrabodhini
Travel Expenses to be borne by Volunteers.
Accommodation and food from local collaborating organizations.
Volunteers will share part expenses of local lodging and boarding.
Certificate of participation from EARC, Jnana Prabodhini.
