Issue 16 4th June 2020
Caring, Learning, Growing: Every Child, Every Day Dear Parents, Carers and Friends,
Next week we welcome our Grade 3 - 6 students back to school. Some will be excited and eager to get back to friends
and the routines of school and I’m sure that there will be others who are equally as happy to stay in the comfort of
home.
The transition to flexible and remote learning has not been easy for families and teachers, and the success we have
achieved is because of the partnership between parents and teachers. We have been inspired by the commitment
and energy shown by you in working with us in educating our children. Your innovative and creative ways of working
with your children has given us an insight into them in a way in which we would never have seen otherwise.
I believe that by meeting this challenge together, the partnership between our school and community has been
strengthened. We now need to build on the positive outcomes that have emerged during this challenging time.
Yours in Christ
