REQUIREMENTS FOR YOUR SCIENCE CAREER GLOG:***All text on your glog must be in complete, grammatically correct sentences!***1. General information about your career - what someone in that career does in the job. (5 points)2. Education (high school diploma? college? graduate school? medical school?) and special skills needed. (5 points)3. Why that career is interesting. (3 points)4. Average salary for someone working in that career (2 points)5. A link to a professional organization for that career (2 points)6. At least 5 photographs or 1 video about the career. Note that YouTube videos are a snap to put into a Glogster - other videos are often not in the right format. However, the video that I wanted to include from "Secret Life of Scientists" was also available on YouTube, so that might be true for videos that you find in other places. (5 points)7. Use of the graphics offered by Glogster. There are many options for text boxes in which you can type your information. Your glog must also have a prominent banner with the name of your career. (5 points)8. Links to the sources of your information, pictures, and videos. An entire text box, picture, or video will be linked. On my sample, only a few of the text boxes have links, because I made up some of my information. For your glog, ALL items should be linked to the website where you found that particular information. (5 points)9. This packet is copied to your Google drive, completed, and shared with me. (3 points)10. Careful editing of grammar and spelling (5 points)
