Igneous Rocks This rock is formed by molten rock that

hardens and cools. Igneous rock found in areas where there is volcanic activity.

Metamorphic Rocks This is a rock that forms deep underground from heat and pressure

Sedimentary Rock Sedimentary rock are made from particles of

different rocks and are deposited in layers. And over time the become compact and become a rock with layers of sediments. And that’s when weathering and erosion comes in play. Weathering is how things are Broken down in smaller rocks. And erosion is how things are carried away by water and wind.

Granite rocks Granite rocks are a type of igneous rock

and most people use this rock to make granite counter tops. A few characteristics about granite is hard, tough, not a flat surface of rock has little bits of other rocks hard to determine.

Coal Coal is a rock that classified as a igneous

rock. And it a type of rock used everyday, they also fuel our cars trains and any other vehicle. Coal is a type of igneous rock that has a uneven shape of rock and is typically black.

Limestone Limestone is a sedimentary rock and

is a rock that has dead sediments form together to make one rock. And usually is the color white.

Rock Cycle Metamorphic rocks can be igneous or sedimentary

rocks but is changed by heat and pressure. Metamorphic Rock can melt and cool and be an Igneous Rock. If a Metamorphic Rock breaks down and compacts it turns into Sedimentary Rock. If Igneous Rock weathers and compacts it turns into Sedimentary Rock.
