The bus will be a clearly marked charter bus (not C-Tran) and each stop will have signs for the Home & Garden Idea Fair boarding area. The bus will depart Fisher’s Landing at 8:30 am, 10 am, 11:30 am, 1 pm, 2:30 pm, and 4 pm on Friday and Saturday. It will pick up passengers at 99th Street approximately 25 minutes later. The last bus will leave the fairgrounds at 6:15 pm. On Sunday, the bus will leave Fisher’s Landing at 9:30 am, 11 am, 12:30 pm and 2 pm and will pick up passengers at 99th Street approximately 25 minutes later. The last bus leaving the event on Sunday will be at 5:15 pm. The complete schedule for the free shuttle service is listed at www.clarkpublicutilities.com.
The Home & Garden Idea Fair is free, but donations to help local families are welcome! Here are two ways to help:
1. Bring non-perishable food items to any fair entrance.Canned and boxed foods greatly benefit area food banks and last year we collected nearly 8,000 pounds of food for the Clark County Food Bank!
2. Donate money to Operation Warm Heart at any gate, golf cart shuttle.Operation Warm Heart is a utility program to help customers in financial crisis pay heating bills. Every dollar donated goes directly to a local family in need.

Utility provides FREE shuttle bus service to, from the fair
FREE ADMISSION • $6 ParkingCanned food donations or cash donations to Operation Warm Heart are encouraged.
As a customer-owned utility, we are committed to providing you with the most reliable, affordable service possible. Whether you walk into one of our offices, call us with a question, pay a bill on our website or report a street light out, we aim to provide the most convenient, friendly experience. Every time.
Relax and recharge!Join us this year in the comfortable Clark Public Utilities area to rest, visit, and recharge. Enjoy soft seating and charging stations for smart-phones and devices while you take a moment to refill your battery.
Ride and drive new electric vehicles!Join us this year to explore new plug-in electric vehicles with Go Forth Electric. New models with extended ranges and a variety of convenient features are making EVs increasingly popular across Clark County. Visit Go Forth near the Innovation Home on Saturday and Sunday and come see why! Want to take an EV for a spin? Make sure to bring your valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance.
Right tree, right place!Visit with us about the many benefits of planting the right trees in thoughtful areas around your home. When placed carefully, trees can reduce energy use by providing shade in the summer and allowing sunlight to warm the home in the winter. Learn more about the benefits of trees and see where you can save energy and money without damaging power lines at www.arborday.com/clarkpud.
Free water bottles!Swing by and pick up your free, reusable water bottle filled with fresh, cold water. Talk with our water utility employees about how we keep our water system safe, and how you can help.
How smart is your thermostat? The utility offers programs to help customers upgrade to a smart thermostat. Limited-income customers may be eligible to receive a free smart thermostat — talk to us and see if you qualify!
Welcome to the annual Home & Garden Idea Fair!
It’s been 28 years since we held our first Home & Garden Idea Fair. And the good ideas keep coming!
This event is one of the ways we give back to the communities we serve every year. As a nonprofit public utility, we take our commitment to each of you to heart, which is why more than 200 utility employees volunteer their time to make this event happen.
Bring the whole family and browse the displays, shop for plants, enjoy free, hands-on activities for kids and stop by our utility area in the center of the Exhibition Hall to rest, recharge and visit with us about utility programs and services.
Looking forward to celebrating this annual tradition with you!

It’s freeThe Home & Garden Idea Fair is the utility’s way of saying thank you to our customer-owners. Admission is free, but the Event Center charges $6 to park. The utility will be accepting canned food donations at the fair entrance for local food banks and cash donations to Operation Warm Heart. What to wear Bring a jacket or dress in layers. The Exhibition Hall is heated, but there are plenty of other outdoor features you’ll want to check out. Limited wheelchairs available If you have your own wheel-chair, we recommend that you bring it, since only a limited number of wheelchairs will be available to borrow at the entrance gates. You’ll just need to leave your driver’s license with a volunteer until you have returned the wheelchair.
Food is available A variety of concessions will be available to purchase, including sandwiches, hamburgers, and popcorn. Leave your pets at home For safety reasons, no pets except identified service dogs are allowed on the fairgrounds. This policy will be enforced at the entry gate, so please leave your pets at home.
Plan for purchasesA plant holding area is available near the plant building, and package holding is available in the Exhibition Hall. But it’s a good idea to bring a large bag, backpack, wagon or stroller, or to save most of your buying until the end of your day at the fair. Cash machines are located in the lobby of the Exhibition Hall and in the Plant Sale building.
