HILL STATION - DALHOUSIE
Dalhousie is a beautiful hill station in
Himachal Pradesh. Dalhousie is built on
around five hills. Established in 1854 by
the British Empire in India as a summer
retreat for its troops and bureaucrats,
the town was named after Lord
Dalhousie who was the British Viceroy
in India at that time.Dalhousie is situated at 6000-9000 feet.

Darjeeling Hill Station
Darjeeling , the queen of all hill stations
and also the 'Dream-land of the East',
famous for its natural beauty, clean fresh
air, year round plesent weather and aboveall, tea estates and the famous Darjeeling
Tea...
Darjeeling gets its name from Dorje
(Thunderbolt) and Ling (Place). One of the
most popular hillstations of India,
Darjeeling is strategically very important
due to its proximity with Nepal and Bhutan
borders.The hill station was popularized from
the times of British rule. Every year
at the start of summer, the Viceroys
of India would move to Darjeeling.
Covering an area of 1,200 sq. milesand surrounded by the Himalayan
peaks, its a fascinating place rich in

beautiful tea estates are here. The
Kanchenjunga peak can be seen from
the town.

HILLSTATION - GANGTOK
The capital of Sikkim, Gangtok (which means
'hilltop'), sprawls down the west side of a long
ridge flanking the Ranipul River. The scenery is
spectacular and there are excellent views of the
entire Kanchenjunga Range from many points in
the environs of the city. Its picturesque mountain
range with several beautiful monasteries attracts

HILL STATION - KODAIKANAL
Kodaikanal referred to as 'The Princess of Hill Stations', is
situated amidst the folds of the verdant Palani hills in the
Western Ghats at an altitude of about 2133 m.Kodaikanal is one of the most frequented hill resorts in
India. With its spectacular rocks, tranquil woods, lovely

Lonavala - Khandala Hill Station
Lonavala or Lonavla and the adjacent Khandala
are beautiful, charming and twin hill stations,
622 m. above sea level and 5 Kms a part from
each other are situated in the Sahyadri ranges.
They are located around 64 km away from the
city of Pune and 96 km away from the city
Mumbai, popular getaway from Mumbai and

Manali Hill Station

Munnar Hill Station
Munnar is one of the most beautiful hill
stations of the southern Indian state of Kerala.
Located in the hill ranges of Kerala 1600 m
above the sea, where three mountain streams
- Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala -
come together, Munnar is a vision in green.

Mussoorie Hill Station
Located in the foothills of the Himalayas, Mussoorie gets its
name from the Mansur shrub that is commonly seen in here.
