How do I get involved in marine planning?
Get interactiveAn online interactive map of our
seas, the marine planning portal, is now live. It allows anyone logging
on to understand how busy our seas have become and play an active part in marine planning. This can be seen at: http://planningportal.

The Marine Management Organisation is currently planning for future marine activities in the East Inshore and East Offshore marine plan areas.
Working with local people, marine planning will seek to enhance benefits to coastal communities from the marine economy, including potential job creation. Comments are welcomed from as many people as possible as plans are formed.
We will be working closely with a broad range of stakeholders, including local authorities and communities to ensure that local people and partnerships have the opportunity to take part in the planning process. Marine planning will also link together with plans on land and other relevant strategies.
