In French, everything and everybody - people, places and things - has a gender, they are either feminine (f) or masculine
(m).
In French, we have four definite articles: one masculine, one feminine, one plural and one for singular word
who start with a vowel: • For masculine,
singular word: LE• For feminine
singular word: LA• For singular word
that starts with a vowel: L’
• For any plural word: LES

When you use the plural, you just add an “s” at the end of the word…
