How to set up a Paypal account for free payment collections:

Step 1: Go to the Paypal website: https://www.paypal.com/us/home

Step 2: Hover your mouse over “Personal” and click on the link that says “Sign Up for Free”.

Step 4: After your account is set up, return to the Paypal home screen.

Step 5: Once you are signed in again to your Paypal account, at the top of this page, click on the section

that says “Send & Request”.

Step 6: To request money from people on your team, enter in their email addresses.

Step 7: Once you have entered all the email addresses, you will see a screen that says, “How much do they owe?” Enter in the requested dollar amount.

Step 8: On this screen, you can also enter in a note explaining the costs. When your message is complete, click the button that says “Request Money”.

Step 9: You can track payments by signing in to your Paypal account and then clicking on the section that says “Activity”. “Pending” and “Completed” payments are shown on this page.
