• Users are skeptical and risk averse
• They look to others when foming
opinions or your app’s value
• Use positive reviews, customer
comments, total downloads and
ranks achieved to build social proof
for your app
Leverage Story Telling
• Remember that emotions sell
better than statistics and specs
• Games: try to create an emotional
connection with the characters
• Apps: start with a vivid word picture
of the problem that you are trying
to solve
• Try to take your customers on a
journey, don’t push features out of
context
Rely on Authority
• Reach out early to reviewers so you
have great quotes on day 1
• Mention any awards that your app
has earned
• Keep your eyes open for public
celebrity mentions of your game or
app
