Huckins in 1946 at Jacksonville, FL.It is a classic post war model that has undergone an extensive frame-up restoration in Seattle.The hull is triple-planked Mahogany set in resin and laid diagonally for speed, strength andweight savings. Huckins patented "Quadraconic Hull".

SERENADE had a frame up restoration in 2004. All new wiring, plumbing, holding tank,electrical systems, battery banks (house and separate engines), Wabasto hot water heater,invert, new exhaust and engines have new hoses and exhaust system. In 2004 a new holdingtank and it's plumbing and electrical systems, new forepeak cushions with Sunbrella fabric inthe main salon and aft cabin, new running lights. Moored in fresh water inside ownersboathouse.

Two stateroom model with forward guest quarters with full head & shower. The masterstateroom is aft of saloon on the lower level with port & starboard berths and full head with 4 fttub & shower. The galley is forward on the lower level aft and to port of the forward stateroom.Immediately aft and up two steps is the saloon with settee/berths to port & starboard. Furtheraft and to starboard up three steps is the bridge with centerline helm.

Twin GM 6-71s with new exhaust system & risers, and new block heaters. Huckins 48 VeeDrives with new raw water cooling pumps. Boat has the original monel 300 gallon fuel tank and150 gallon water tank; and an additional 300 gallon stainless steel fuel tank has beeninstalled. New Racor filters and fuel priming pumps have been installed. There are six new2000 gph automatic bilge pumps installed. All new plumbing and electrical complete for40,000 btu furnace, unit install needed.
*Stbd engine needs attention and/or to be used. Slower to start, but they both sound very good.

Boat has been completely rewired to current marine standards. Engines have been converted to12 volt starting and each engine has a dedicated 8D battery. The 12 volt house battery systemconsists of ten 6 volt deep cycle golf cart batteries (all new). There is a Trace 2500 wattinverter which powers the 110 volt AC refrigerator.

Boat has had a frame up restoration from the forward cabin aft. The Huckins Quadraconic hullis triple planked Philippine mahogany bonded with resorcinal resin. All decks including thecockpit and all cabin tops have been sheathed in fiberglass cloth set in epoxy resin. All toerails/bulwarks have been replaced and finished bright. The hull and superstructure are paintedwith Sterling polyurethane. She is stored undercover in fresh water in boathouse. The originalowner's manual and a partial ship's log is on the boat.
