Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology,
Sociology Counseling, Human Development or a
related field required. Additional work experience
may substitute required education on a year-by-
year basis.
Minimum of two years’ experience in providing
victim’s services, community outreach and
building relationships, or related supportive
services to adults, young adults, children and/or
families required.
Prior experience in public speaking and/or
coalition building is highly desirable.
Prior experience working with survivors of human
trafficking individuals is highly desirable.
Proficient with computers, technology, Microsoft
Office Suite and related business software.
Bilingual English/Spanish or other secondary
language preferred
Pass required background investigation including
medical examination and TB clearance, acceptable
criminal record statement, Department of Justice
fingerprint clearance, and child abuse index
clearance.

Position Summary
Develop and grow the Central Valley Freedom
Coalition; a network comprised of local and federal
law enforcement agencies, legal service organizations,
faith-based organizations, service providers, and
advocacy groups. Coordinate the components of
outreach, training and public awareness for Central
Valley Against Human Trafficking Project.
Assist in the fulfillment of the agency’s vision, “For
Those We Serve,” by empowering individuals who
thrive as healthy, self-sufficient and contributing
members of our communities.

Founded in 1965, Fresno Economic Opportunities
Commission (EOC) has spent over four decades
investing in people, helping them become self-
sufficient. The scope of service provided by our
Agency consists of nearly all facets of human
services and economic development, ranging from
pre-school education to vocational training; from
juvenile and drug abuse counseling to treatment
for serious juvenile offenders; from youth
recreation to senior citizen hot meal services; from
energy conservation education to crisis
intervention; from preventive health care to
prenatal nutrition education; and from vocational
counseling to job placement services.
