ESF 1&3 – Transportation & Public Works• Future Operations
• Support response and recovery needs.• Due to the potential landfall of Hurricane Dennis, the
following plans have been made for the closure of the I-10 Escambia Bay Bridges. Both the east and west bound I-10 Escambia Bay Bridges will be closed once sustained winds reach 45 mph. All traffic, east and west bound will be detoured.
• The Interstate will be closed between Davis Highway (SR 291), Exit 13 and Avalon Blvd. (SR 281), Exit 22 once the wind speeds are sustained at 45 mph. The detour route will include US 90 between Davis Highway and Avalon Blvd. Motorist s should travel north from Davis Highway or Avalon Blvd to US 90 and then follow the signs.

• ARFs are in the pipeline for 15 Dry Trailers, 15 Reefers, 20 Shower Units and 5 Water Tankers to service the Kitchens.
• TSA and ARC are identifying locations for resupply of their Canteens / ERVS with water, ice and other consumables. These locations will be used at least until the Kitchens are in place.
• TSA / ARC / Southern Baptists still anticipate setting up 12 Kitchens in the Panhandle, exact locations to be determined post- impact. They should be up and running by Friday.
