out of use• The forth lighthouse is Eddystone lighthouse
This was where the Lighthouse would have stood
War Memorial
• Firstly I would like to say thank you to all those people who fought and died for us in all the wars.
• The war memorial is where all of the names of the people who fought for our country; these wars included:
• The First World War• The Second World War• Or as most people say “The Great War” which is the First
World War too.
Plymouth Sound
• Plymouth Sound is one of the world’s most spectacular natural harbours.
• It has a very impressive breakwater which is one mile long and lets the water become calm for lots of different boats to sail in
Tinside Lido
• Tinside Pool is a unique 1935 Art Deco lido
Sutton Harbour
A harbour where many boats are moored as well as swans swim elegantly!
Plymouth Life Centre
• A fantastic sporting centre where you can swim, play badminton, roller skate, rock climb and even have your birthday party!
Brunel’s Bridge
Officially called Albert Bridge and built in 1859.Still used today for trains to and from Cornwall.
Plymouth PavilionsA great venue where you can see your favourite pop star or even skate on the chilly ice!
All Lit Up!
I am sure you will all agree that Plymouth is a beautiful and fantastic place to live … and there is still much more to discover!
