In 1916 Adeline and Augusta Van Buren

were the first women to make a transcontinental journey on two solo motorcycles. The Sisters’ Centennial Motorcycle Ride will honor and celebrate our female motorcycling heroines of the past as we promote the growth of female motorcyclists and the motorcycling community.
