SCHOOL MOTTO
‘ Tamso ma Jyotirgamya’ Tamso ma Jyotirgamya - means“Lead me from darkness to light.”
When we refer to darkness and light, we meanignoranace and knowledge, respectively.
This is so because ignoranace, like darkness, obscures true understanding.
The only remedy for darkness is light, just as the only remedy for ignorance is knowledge.
The knowledge spoken of here is again the knowledgeof one’s true nature

PLEDGEIndia is my country. All Indians are my brothers and sisters. I love my country and I am proud of its rich and varied heritage. I shall always strive to be worthy of it. MAKE ME A CHANNEL OF YOUR PEACE…..
Make me a channel of your peace Where there is hatred, let me sow your love Where there is injury, your pardon, Lord Where there is doubt, true faith in you.
Chorus: Oh, master, grant that I may never seek So much to be consoled as to console To be understood as to understand To be loved as to love with all my soul.
Make me a channel of your peace It is pardoning that we are pardoned In giving to all men that we receive And in dying that we’ are born to eternal life.
ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL
All things bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small. All things wise and wonderful, The Lord God made them all.
Each little flower that opens, Each little bird that sings He made their glowing colours, He made their tiny wings.
The purple headed mountain, The river running by, The sunset, and the morning That brightens up the sky.
The cold wind in the winter, The pleasant summer sun, The ripe fruits in the garden, He made them every one.
He gave us eyes to see them, And lips that we might tell, How great is God Almighty, Who has made all things well.
20
SHOWERS OF BLESSING
There shall be showers of blessing- This is the promise of love. There shall be seasons refreshing, Sent from God above.
Showers of blessing, Showers of blessing we need. Mercy drops round us are falling But for the showers we plead, There shall be showers of blessing Send them upon us, O God. Grant to us now a refreshing Come and honour thy word.
COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS
When upon life’s billow you are tempest tossed When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost; Count your many blessings, name them one by one And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.
Count your blessings, name them one by one Count your blessings, see what God hath done; Count your blessings, name them one by one Count your many blessings, see what God hath done.
Are you even burdened with a load of care? Does the load seem heavy you are called to bear? Count your many blessings, every doubt will fly And you will be singing as the days go by.
Count your blessings, name them one by one Count your blessings, see what God hath done; Count your blessings, name them one by one; Count your many blessings, see what God hath done.
21
WE SHALL OVERCOME
We shall overcome, we shall overcome, We shall overcome some day. For deep in my heart I do believe We shall overcome some day.
We are not afraid, we are not afraid; We are not afraid today. For deep in my heart
I do believe We shall overcome some day.
The truth shall make us free, The truth shall make us free; The truth shall make us free some day. For deep in my heart I do believe We shall overcome some day.
We shall live in peace, we shall live in peace, We shall live in peace, some day. For deep in my heart I do believe We shall overcome some day.
LIBERATION
The world stands in need of liberation, my Lord, It still has to feel Your power The blind and the deaf, the dumb and the maimed, All need to feel your healing touch; The world stands…chorus
1 There are those who have eyes but refuse to see, Their in humanity to men; There are those who have ears, but refuse to hear, The Cries of those in agony
2 There are those who have mouths, but refuse to speak Against injustice done to men There are those who have hands, but refuse to reach Them out in love and brotherhood.
3 There are those who have talents, they do not use To build a true community. And we know that we all have the talent to love But leave it buried in ourselves.
