InnoSealer Product Knowledge
The InnoSealer is a unique system which uses tape and paper to provide a tamper evident closure to bags.
The closure will seal most bag types, including
Poly and Poly/Mesh combo bags.
The closure will hold up to a 10 lb bag.
Attaches a virtual airtight seal which
preserves product freshness.
Inside the sealer you will find a movable wheel,
cutting blade, wheel stop and the tape/paper bases which house the rolls.
Multi-Colored Refill
This tape and paper refill consists of 7 rolls of clear tape and 7 rolls of paper and is called ‘Multi’ refill, meaning there are multiple colors of paper (7) which can be used for each day of the week and is recognized by International Food Safety Standards for product coding. There are 7,000 tamper evident closures per tube.
InnoPearl Refill (white)
The tape and paper refill consists of 7 rolls of white tape and 7 rolls of paper and is called ‘Pearl’ tape because of its white color.

Operational Procedures
InnoSealer With Cutting Blade To Remove Excess Bag
Labor/Analysis StudyThe labor management team of a prominent supermarket chain conducted a time motion
efficiency study and concluded that the InnoSealer generated in excess of 50% labor
savings versus using wire ties. Corporate reviewed these results, endorsed the InnoSealer
and implemented it chain wide. Below is a break down on the motion efficiency study:
Twist Tie- time to close a bag: 8.6 seconds
Rotate bag with one wrist turn 1 second
Pick up twist tie from table within reach 1 second
Position twist tie at bag 1 second
Secure twist with 4 wrist turns 4 seconds
Put aside sealed bag to table within reach 1 second
INNOSEALER- time to close a bag: 4.15 seconds (half the time of wire tie)
Rotate bag with one wrist turn 1 second
Position bag at sealer 1 second
Apply tamper-evident closure 1 second
Put aside sealed bag to table within reach 1 second
Additional Benefits of the InnoSealer versus the wire tie:
TAMPER-EVIDENT
Food safety is the number one concern for grocery retailers. As the most reliable tamper
evident and resealable closure on the market, the InnoSealer lets the customers know that
they are the first to open the bag (security of product).
CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME Many companies have endorsed the InnoSealer as a
means to eliminate the movements associated with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (repetitive
strain injury from using a twist tie). This makes for healthier and more productive employees.
ELIMINATES WASTE The mess and waste associated with wire ties, i.e. sweeping the
floor, picking out of the bread slicer and the amount of ties that are just wire with no paper
on them, is eliminated when using the InnoSealer.

InnoSeal Product Comparison
1. Load tape sticky side up - tape end hangs outside the casing
2. Paper travels through the paper channel into one of the wheel ports
3. Advance the wheel counter clockwise until the paper fits into one of
the ports
4. Close the machine Note: The first seal is lost, as the tape must attach to the paper. You have correctly fitted the new paper and tape roll if on the second closing you have a tape and paper seal. If not, then retrace above steps.
Q. How do I change the rolls in my InnoSealer Machine?

FAQ’s
Q. Does the InnoSealer need to be cleaned?
Yes, the machine should be cleaned every 7,000 - 10,000 closures. Spray and or wipe adhesive tape cleaner or mild cleanser on the inside of the InnoSealer Machine and wipe away any residue that may exist.
This maintenance routine will keep your InnoSealer machine fit and ready for another sealing cycle.
This problem can be resolved by opening the InnoSealer machine and reinserting the paper into the feed wheel.

5. Do not scrape out or scratch the plastic
Q. How do I mount or affix my InnoSealer?
