Principle of Cable JettingPrinciple of Cable Jetting
Cable Jetting is a technique wherein the cable is laid into the duct by means of pushing
it at the duct entry point & a high speed air into the duct, exerts a drag there by
assisting its progression.

Due to absence of any pulling forces, friction occurring at
bends are minimized
Advantages of Cable Jetting
Cable is installed into the duct by a gentle push & thepushing force is evenly distributed.
High friction point Low friction point

-
7/29/2019 Installing Cable
13/28
Trajectory influence of the route is minimised.
As the cable is not subjected to any installation related
stresses its life is prolonged
Light, unarmoured cables can be efficiently & safely installed
Advantages of Cable Jetting
Long sections of cables can be installed.

Hydraulic Superjet is driven by two hydraulic motors. Power is supplied by a hydraulic power pack, which is driven by Petrol Engine.
It has a greater pushing force allowing the efficient placement of heavier and stiffer cable such as heavily armoured optic fiber cables.
