Introduction
Faculty of Civil Engineering, UiTM is proud to organize the second International Post Graduate Seminar 2014. Civil Engineering fields has been important in ensuring human sustainability. In the ever changing face of the world, technological advancement must strive along to keep pace with it. This seminar is one of the effort undertaken by UiTM in order to realize the mission and vision of academic excellence, particularly in research, publishing and collaboration linkages with industry and students. The seminar will provide a platform for postgraduate student from UiTM, local and international universities to exchange and improve their research findings. Furthermore it is hoped that this seminar will create close collaboration and relationship among local and international postgraduate students.

Objectives
To create an opportunity of sharing the findings of research work to the Faculty of Civil Engineering and other institution of higher learning in the same field;
To improve the quality of research and development of research students;
To create the cooperation in the exchange of academic materials, resources and knowledge that is useful for research postgraduates students; and
To provide some experience and knowledge for postgraduate students to present at international seminars.
All academicians, scientists, researchers, developers, consultants, contract practitioners, postgraduate students are invited to attend this seminar.
Who Should Attend
Exhibition
In conjunction with this seminar, an exhibition will be held to promote the latest development and current technologies in civil and infrastructure engineering. A standard shell scheme booth will be provided for the exhibitors.
Call for Papers
Participants are invited to submit their abstracts in the fields of Structural Engineering, Geotechnical and Highway Engineering, Water Resources and Wastewater Engineering, Construction Engineering and Project Management. All abstract must be submitted on and before 25th April 2014 for review by the Technical Committee.
English is the official language of this seminar and will be adopted in all publications and oral presentation. The abstracts should contain title of paper, name of authors, affiliations, contact details and summary of objectives, main findings and results of the study with limitation of not more than 400 words.
