“God’s Word is at Work in You Who Believe”
(cf. 1 Th 2:13) Bible – Pastoral – Didactics
International Conference on Animatio biblica totius actionis pastoralis
March 3rd to 5th 2017
Centre Jean XXIII – Luxembourg More than one century ago, Leo XIII was wishing that “practicing the Scriptures be the soul of theology”; more recently, Ben-‐edict XVI was calling for a “biblical inspira-‐tion of all pastoral activity, while Pope Francis said that the Scriptures had to be recognized as “source of evangelization” and as “heart of all ecclesial activity”.
The international Conference “God’s Word is at Work in You Who Believe / Bible – Pastoral – Didactics”, on Animatio biblica totius actionis pastoralis, will seek to an-‐swer this double-‐folded question: through which processes will • the research on the Bible become the
source of all theological work and teaching?
• the personal familiarisation of the faith-‐ful with the Scriptures be at the source of the transformation of “the whole pastoral activity” (liturgy, fraternal life, social commitment, catechesis, etc.)?
