What do you like about Canada?

For people in many parts of the world, Canada is seen as the most, or one of the most, desirable
places to live.
Why would people from other
countries want to live in Canada?

They identify our natural resources, large wilderness areas, and small
human population as some of the
attractive features. As well, people in Canada feel that it
is important to maintain natural
ecosystems.Do you agree?

However, as our population grows, the pressure we are putting on Canadian ecosystems is also growing.

Some of this pressure arises because we assume that we have the right to use nature as we see fit, that resources are plentiful, that science and technology will solve environmental problems, or that we will use knowledge to take care of the natural ecosystems.
Can we continue to make these assumptions?

What role do you think you could play in maintaining our
natural ecosystems?
