As some people know the school basketball team played a tournament on Thursday which took place at Downend School. One team didn’t turn up so we made the matches longer. We played St Augustine's and beat them, then we had to play our other Bromley Heath team. The whites beat the yellows. We also had a basketball shoot out and Joe Dunlop won a basketball for getting the most baskets in 30 seconds.

Through to the Quarter Finals
The Bromley Heath Junior School tag rugby team recently competed in a
competition at Cleve RFC. The tourna-ment was postponed due to the
weather but not before the team completed three games, winning two of
them! All of the boys and girls repre-sented the school fantastically well and, fingers crossed, we’ll be through to the
next round (whenever that is!)
Well done to Freddie, Eryn, Gemma,
Finlay, Haydn, Ollie H, Olly S, Ciaran,
Callum, Max and Daisy!
Your ideas
If you have any ideas
which will help
promote sport in our
school please let one
of the crew know.
Many Thanks,
Fin and Rhiannon,

Bromley Heath 6 v Stanbridge 0
From kick off, we were evidently the better team, playing some good passes but then Stanbridge caught us on the counter attack only for the ball to find FG’s hands with a lovely save. Goals from Ollie and Calum gave us a two-nil lead at half time.
In the second half, another goal from Calum took us to three-nil and, to seal the win for us, an incredible hat-trick by Jacob Stevens.
Throughout the game, our defence was solid with some great performances from Joe, Sam and Freddie that helped keep our clean sheet.
