Supreme Being - God

The first being we know anything aboutGod is so great that in order for us to fully comprehend
Him we would have to be his equal
Supreme in that He upholds all things by His word

Love is also the most powerful thing in the world
His love caused him to send His son

Faith – Hope – LoveThe greatest of these is Love

The world, meaning the totality of all human beings
Those who have lived, those who are living and those who are yet to live
A number that is incomprehensible to us
He loves all regardless of race, education and even the sinner

The greatest gift of all ages
Richest, finest gift of all timeNot just a son, but His only son
God gave him to die between two thieves on a cross
In order to redeem mankind from a hopeless state
Some have given millions of dollars to good causes, but God gave his only son

Supreme Faith – Belief / Trust in God
God desires for each of us to have the greatest faith possible
In life, we have faith in many things
As children – Faith in parentsAs a spouse – Faith in each other
This faith encompasses a multitude of things
From the Virgin Birth to the resurrection of ChristUnderstanding that being buried with Him, baptism, is
essential to salvationHaving confidence in your salvation
Supreme Tragedy – Being Lost Eternally
Man is never ruined until he is lost
The nearest thing to the tragedy of being lost is standing by the grave of a loved who was never obedient to God’s word
The Bible is very descriptive of what Hell will be like

God’s love was shown that we might escape the torment of being lost
