MAKE CALLS FROM IP DESK PHONES, COMPUTERS, AND SMART DEVICES
UNDP continues to innovate in delivering its results worldwide. Now by moving its phone services at Headquarters to Internet-based telephony, we can further enhance our communications capabilities.
Cisco IP (Internet Protocol) telephony provides high quality voice/voicemail, with expert professional support, so you can be productive from anywhere, any time, on any device. It also provides costs savings in calls with UNDP offices using the same system.
IP telephony benefits:
• Seamless communications (voicemail in phone and in MS Outlook)
• Directory search on UNDP contacts • High quality data connections • Increased productivity • Costs savings to UNDP offices • Business innovation • Integrated systems with mobility,
collaboration, and security
IP telephony options:
• Use an IP desk phone in your office and in conference rooms
• Use Cisco software on your laptop or smart device - be more mobile, integrate phone calls into your computing environment, use Click-to Call directory dialing, and, in the next phase, make calls remotely (on mission, at home, or anywhere) for big savings
Watch for training throughout May and in early June at OIST/BoM and with your Information Management Associate (IMA). To register for the sessions and for more information, please contact [email protected] or your IMA.
