8/7/2019 Issue No. 25 (Week of February 28 to March 4)
1/10
From the Middle School Office
Weekly Publication for Middle School Parents
Dear Parents:
During assembly this past Wednesday your child heard about course
offerings for next school year. Starting on Wednesday, March 2nd,
we will begin our on-line course registration process, which is
expected to be completed by Friday, March 4th. We encourage you
to go onto the portal and download the course selection sheet and
the course descriptors for each grade level. Please read these over
with your child and ensure they are aware of the classes they should
sign-up for when they register on-line. Students will utilize
homebase time during the week to register for the courses. If you
have any questions about course choices, please talk to either Ms.
Van Der Merwe or Mr. St. Laurent in MS Guidance.
The end of the 3rd quarter is only two weeks away. We encourage
you to check PowerSchool and discuss your childs assignments,
progress and level of achievement with them. In connection to this
time of the semester, we have the afternoon of March 15 set aside
for Parent Teacher Conferences. If you have major concerns about
your childs progress, please plan to attend.
As printed on the school calendar, there will be no classes on
Monday, February 28 to observe the anniversary of the EDSA
Revolution and on Tuesday, March 1 due to a faculty in-service day.
Classes resume on Wednesday, March 2.
Enjoy the long weekend!
