Jaguar Players Important Dates, Spring 2015 Tuesday, January 20th – Cast and Crew participants’ mandatory parent meeting
Monday, January 26 – 6:00pm PARENT BUILD NIGHT—come to the MPR to help
us with the magic—no experience required! (Booster Club meets at 5:30pm)
**Friday, January 30 – Signed calendar receipt must be returned and registration
at http://www.jaguarplayers.org/registration/ must be completed! If you have
not registered AND returned a signed receipt of the rehearsal calendar by this
date, your student’s cast or crew role may be reassigned.
Monday, February 9 – 6:00pm PARENT BUILD NIGHT—come to the MPR to help

**Friday, March 27 – EVERYTHING IS DUE! T-shirt orders, fundraising forms,
parent order forms, student bios, parent rewards worksheets—turn everything in!
**Saturday, April 11 – 10:00am to 2:00pm – students are required, but parent
attendance is appreciated! Some student groups will be going into the community
to distribute posters, and the more adults we have to drive, the better!
**Friday, April 17 – 6:00pm teaser/promotional performance at the Downtown
Chandler Art Walk!

Friday, April 24 – Performance at 7pm (call time may be as early as 5:30pm)

Bye Bye Birdie Playbill Bios
The following is a worksheet to help you write your SHORT biography for the Bye Bye Birdie playbill (program). Please limit your biography to 100 words. Directors reserve the right to edit if needed. Your bio MAY include: • Past theater experience • Aprende activities • A personal note to family or friends • Reflections on your experience in this production Your biography must be written in 3rd person (Example: “This is Ms. Peck’s fifth production. She is very excited to be a part of this show.” NOT: “This is my fifth production. I am very excited to be a part of this show.”) Here are two examples: Carlos Cazares (Philip Malloy) is a 7th grader and delighted to be performing with the Jaguar Players. Carlos has performed in many productions, his last being Seussical the Musical (Cat in the Hat). Carlos played with the Jaguar JV Baseball team. Carlos would like to send a special thanks to Ms. Peck and his family. Jamie Mallard (Tech Crew) has been involved in either the cast or crew of all the Jaguar Players productions. She is very involved at Aprende and is a member of Student Council and National Junior Honor Society. She had a great time getting ready for Bye Bye Birdie and would like to thank Harriet Jones for making costume crew an experience she will never forget!

Jaguar Players PARENT REWARDS! For the Spring 2015 musical, we are hoping that each Jaguar Player and their family will provide either a donation or fundraising effort (or a combination of the two!) of at least $50 per participant. However, this is only a minimum—you are welcome and encouraged to exceed that goal! If you do, your efforts will be rewarded! For the funds that you donate or bring in via sponsorships, playbill ad sales, VIP ticket sales, and/or concession items BEYOND the $50 goal, you will be rewarded with your choice of VIP (front row, reserved) tickets and shout out playbill ads! In addition to items sold via the fundraising form (sponsorship, playbill ads, VIP tickets, or general donations), the donation amount per concession items donated are as follows (no need to turn in receipts, but please let [email protected] know what you plan to donate ASAP!):
