Download - Jaime Gilinski’s JGB Bank: Recent History
Transcript
Formerly known as Eagle National Bank, JGB Bank was acquired in 1994 by Colombian banker Jaime Gilinski.
JGB Bank’s name was changed in 2009 to reflect the initials of owner Jaime Gilinski-Bacal.
In March 2009, the Federal Reserve announced they were releasing JGB National Holding Company from a Cease and Desist order that had been in effect since 2005.
The Cease and Desist order prevented JGB Bank from transferring its assets to Jaime Gilinski’s other holdings.
The order required JGB Bank to improve internal controls and add an outside director with banking experience.
