I'm so excited about the fantastic programme that has been put
together by the Conference Organising Committee from JCI
London. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Sarah Beckwith
and her team for all their hard work in planning this years

It is with pride that I,
on behalf of JCI London, welcome you to
the first JCI UK National Convention. The conference
organising committee, led by Sarah Beckwith, has done an outstanding job in organising this amazing weekend of interactive
training sessions, speakers, parties, dinners and lunches, which
promises a unique opportunity to be challenged, be inspired, and
develop leadership skills.
I look forward to getting to know you all a bit better over the
weekend; if JCI is anything for me it is about building friendships
and personal relationships. Make sure you develop these
relationships and last but not least, have fun and take
advantage of everything that London and the Convention have to offer!
Welcome to London
and the first ever JCI UK National
Convention! JCI London is proud to be organising
this inaugural event and it has been a privilege for me
to be the Convention Director. I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing members on the COC team, expand my skills
and meet lots of fabulous JCI members from different chambers
in my travels to promote the convention. I am especially delighted
by the number of international guests we have attending this weekend.
We hope you enjoy the varied programme that we’ve put together!
The main purpose of the convention is to get JCI members talking
to share ideas and best practice. To this end I really encourage you
to meet as many people as possible and find out all the excitingthings they are doing in their local (and national!) organisations
-you never know what you might learn and be able to put
-into practice in your own chamber.
Have a great weekend!
