Abstract
With over 300 million believers around the world, the global Evangelical community is one of the fastest growing Christian denominations. Latin America is a home to more than128 million Evangelicals (also known as "Evangelicos") that form tightly knit communities, maintaining a very close and special relationship with their local pastor and church. Jerus Global strives to bring the Blockchain revolution to these local communities who, more often than not, find themselves at the low end of the financial ladder, by creating a stronger, socially-based economy. An ecosystem providing all day-to-day needs of community members, including religious practice, commerce, education, sharing economy and financial services will initiate an internal economy that is based on the power of the local community, empowering the members and their beliefs. This new economy will be based on a designated cryptocurrency: The JerusCoin, that was designed for the specific needs of the believers. Jerus Global is utilizing the power of Blockchain to empower Evangelicals while putting an emphasis on values the local communities cherish, including mutual responsibility, collaboration and morality. The Latin American communities will be the first use case for an even larger global society in the future.
Please note, this document is constantly updated by the Jerus
Global team, hence all details are subjected to possible changes.

1. Mission Statement
Evangelicos (Latin Evangelicals) in Latin America form strong, tightly knit
communities that often lack the financial strength that societies of this magnitude
and unity may have. Jerus Global strives to utilize the power of these local
communities and empower them through Blockchain technology and a designated
cryptocurrency - all the while respecting the traditional structure of the local
societies.
There are around 300 million Evangelicals in the world with 128 million of them
living in Latin America1, where Evangelicalism has been constantly spreading since
the 1930’s. The Community-focused living is a basic value and principle that leads
the day-to-day lives of many Evangelicos, as local communities usually trade
amongst themselves, trying to support one another in what can sometimes be a
harsh financial reality2.
The global Evangelist community in general and particularly the Protestant
Evangelists in Latin America are utterly devoted to Israel and the Jewish people.
They pray for Israel, collect donations and dedicate time, efforts and money to
support different causes related to the Holy Land. They part of Evangelicalism is a
firm belief in a verbal interpretation of the scriptures. Genesis 12, 1-3, is a great
influence on the Evangelical mission of praying and allocating resources towards
Israel;

(1) The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your
people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.
(2) “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will
make your name great, and you will be a blessing.[a]
(3) I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I
will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through
you.”
Some interpreters say that the meaning of Genesis 12, 1-3, is that all those who
bless Abraham's descendants will be blessed by God3, meaning not only bless for
good health, shelter, food and a good job - but for salvation.
For ages, Evangelicos have been praying for Israel and putting their efforts in many
causes regarding the Holy Land and its inhabitants. Jewish people pray for the
world in general with no specific regard to their Evangelical guardians. What can
the Jewish people give in return for all the spiritual and practical support they have
been receiving for years and years?
We in Jerus Global believe that the answer lies in Blockchain.
In the world we live in today, technology advancements happen on a daily basis
and many of us don't get to enjoy the benefits of these advancements. Blockchain
is the perfect example of such advancement. The technology in its current form
was introduced to the world with the launch of Bitcoin in 2009 and since then has
been used in various industries and enterprises. The distributed ledger allows
transparency and safety in transactions of any kind. The Blockchain revolution has

yet to reach its full potential in the amount of lives it can change and so many are
still not aware of the endless possibilities this technology holds. Blockchain in its
financial form of cryptocurrency is currently used more by individuals who have
discovered this potential.
The main characteristic of Blockchain can be found in Evangelical communities all
over Latin America that are as decentralized as religion can get. With no one entity
determining guidelines for practice or daily living, and the ability of anyone who
desires to be a pastor being able to do so without being formally ordained by a
higher priest. These already decentralized communities can find countless benefits
in a designated cryptocurrency that drives an ecosystem providing all the daily
needs of an Evangelist believer in a parish. In addition to safe and secure
transactions, a cryptocurrency allows people with shared beliefs and goals to come
together under one, socially based, economy that is built upon values and
principles that the community stands for.
We are using the power of Blockchain and the financial shift that comes with
cryptocurrencies to empower Evangelicals, first in Latin America and later on, in
other relevant communities around the world. The JerusCoin will bring the holy
city of Jerusalem to the Evangelicos and the Keila platform, developed by the
company, will put a vast emphasis on values of cooperation, organization and
mutual responsibility that already exist in these communities and could be of great
advantage to all as they grow even stronger.

2. Background
a. Evangelicalism
“Evangelism” comes from the Greek word euangelion meaning “good word” or
“gospel” which is embedded in one of the four pillars of the movement, comprised
of Biblicism, crucicentrism, conversionism and activism4.
Today, there are over 285,480,00 million Evangelicals in the world, 13.1% of the
Christian population5 and the numbers are constantly growing. Latin America is a
perfect example with the Protestant Evangelical population becoming significantly
larger in the past decades. Today there are more than 128 million people who
belong to an Evangelical parish in LA.
b. Evangelicalism in Latin America
In Latin America the term “Evangelical” is often a synonym for “Protestant”. Due to
Spanish and Portuguese domination6 in the past, many countries in the continent
are historically Catholic and to this day, have a strong church-and-state
connection, giving the roman Catholic church a great deal of political strength. In
the 1930’s Protestant missionaries from North America and Europe began arriving
to Latin America to spread the gospel. The new missionaries were very involved in

the local societies through community assistance programs, agricultural
development plans and new schools' development.
A significant attraction factor for new followers was the translation of scriptures to
the native tongues by SIL missionaries which finally made it possible for them to
read in their own language7. Protestantism in the Latin countries is “home grown”
with most of the pastors being local, as opposed to Catholic priests who are 60%
foreigners8,making many scholars to define it as “more suitable” for Latin American
countries due to pastor training being more reliant on the ability to mobilize
people that on theological education. Urbanization and the focus on social care are
two more major factor of the constant rise, with many people converting and
becoming “Evangelicos”9.
c. Evangelicos
Evangelicos have a very broad spectrum of practices, depending on the country of
their origin. The term generally represents several protestant denominations and
traditions10.
Pastors often bare the role of social workers in their communities, taking on
important issues like education, domestic violence and alcoholism11. This comes

from the evangelical belief that day-to-day matters should be attended and the
believers should feel connected to the holy spirit in small things, making the
connection very personal. Evangelicos are men and women who have changed
their lives through conversion, making them “people of good news” who find the
preaching of the gospel to be essential. They preach for ideals like family,
education, social justice, Biblical morality and fairness12. In Venezuela, Brazil,
Guatemala, México and other countries in Latin America, the religious commitment
Evangelicos have is profound, meaning Evangelicos spend a great deal of time and
efforts on praying, attending service and preaching to others13.
Evangelical pastors and preachers mostly come from the working class and often
do not attend seminary, resulting in a more “down to earth” connection to their
followers14, making the “wall” that sometimes separated between professional
clergy-men and their perish does not exist in the Latin Evangelical community.
Anyone can preach, and this commitment is open to everyone15 - making this bond
between the pastor and his parish very strong and durable. The church and
community life surrounding it has an essential role in the day-to-day lives of the
members as education, commerce and interpersonal relationships are often based
inside the local parish.

d. Evangelism and Israel
Many evangelicals hold Christian Zionist beliefs and consider the return of the
Jewish people to Israel and the formation of the Jewish country in 1948 to be in
accordance with Bible prophecy16. According to some Evangelical interpretation of
the Bible, many believe that the return of Jews to the Holy Land is a prerequisite to
the second coming of Jesus, resulting in the current belief that the Jewish presence
in Israel should be encouraged. 75% of Evangelicals worldwide have a favorable
opinion of the Jewish people and 73% believe that god’s covenant with the Jews
still applies today17.
These beliefs have established a strong bond between the Jewish community in
Israel and protestant Evangelical communities all over the world, specifically in
Latin America. The NHCLC - America's largest Hispanic Evangelical organization,
representing more than 540,000 churches worldwide, has launched an initiative
called “The Hispanic Israel Leadership Coalition” (HILC) in 2015. The HILC’s efforts
are set on harnessing the power of the Hispanic Evangelicals towards rallying up
support for Israel18.

Many Evangelicos see Genesis 12, 1-3, as a call for action;
“I will make you into a great nation,
and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing. [a]
3 I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you.”[b].
They pray for the well-being of the Jewish people in Israel every single day while
trusting that god will bless those who bless the Jewish people. They donate to
Israel-related charities as often as possible, buy Israeli paraphernalia and show
their support in different ways they see fit. Many believe that the salvation will
come from the Holy Land, making all connections to Israel and its inhabitants
extremely meaningful.

3. Empowering Evangelicals
through Blockchain
The ever evolving Blockchain technology allows, among other things, the creation
of cryptocurrencies; digital tokens with high levels of credibility and safety. The
cryptocurrency industry has been developing and generating new possibilities for
growth and change while a token specifically designed for an existing community,
gives its members an opportunity to gather around their own designated monetary
system.
a. How Can Cryptocurrency Help a
Community with Specific Needs? Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple and EOS created communities of
coin users and followers, all brought together by one common element; the token
they purchased. Jerus coin is part of a new wave of cryptocurrencies, aimed
towards already existing communities that would highly benefit from a designated
token that regards specific needs and tackles specific issues.
A community based, decentralized monetary system is similar to a country but is
not reliant on geographical boundaries. It is a financial system, uniting people
around common beliefs and goals, rather than on where they were born. Having a
financial structure tailored to fit the lives of individual members can make a
community stronger and more unified, helping it reach its fullest potential.

b. How Can the Jerus Coin Empower
Evangelicos? Evangelicos in Latin America live in tightly knit communities led by pastors who
frequently act as social workers in their parish, taking care of every-day issues and
affairs; helping their followers with employment situations, marital disputes,
looking out for the education of the younger members and having an active role
that does not stop at religious activities19. More often than not, Latin American
Evangelicos are affiliated with the lower stratum of society in their country, in
comparison with the Catholics. They are less educated than the Catholics, have
more children and are slightly more likely to be materially deprived. From a
religious standpoint, Evangelicos are much more involved in church community
activities.
These two sides of the Evangelico coin are what make the JerusCoin so relevant for
this community. There is a definite need for a better financial reality while the
church has a strong role both socially and religiously. This undeniable connection
between religion, faith and social status in the Latin American Evangelical world is
the perfect building ground for a much needed cryptocurrency that is both socially
and religiously affiliated.
Many of the local Latin Evangelical communities have their own communal
existence where they are working together and trading amongst themselves,
operating in a financial realm that is already exclusive and self-reliant to some
aspect. A designated cryptocurrency can offer financial encouragement and
empower the individuals and the community as a whole.

c. Bringing Technology Advancements
to New Territories Latin America has a combined estimated population of 640 million people, with Brazil and
Mexico expected to two of the 8 biggest economies in the world by 205020.
Though some parts of the Latin countries are not as developed as others, smartphones
can be found everywhere. Smartphone market penetration has grown from 7.6% in 2011
to 60% of the general population in 201821 (73% in Brazil, 63% in Mexico and 59% in
Guatemala) and estimations show it is expected to continue rising in the years to come22.
This growing statistics show that it is very much possible to introduce Blockchain
technology to the Latin American population since all one really needs in order to have a
digital wallet is a smartphone and some guidance.
We believe that Blockchain holds the future for many different industries and disciplines
including but not limited to health care, insurance and, finance. Bringing this technology
to new communities bears limitless opportunities of advancement and growth, while a
community that is already shares common goals and principles is the perfect environment
for a Blockchain-based revolution to take place.

4. The Keila Platform
The “Keila” (Keila=community in Hebrew) platform will be the beating heart of our
ecosystem and as the name suggests, will be all about the Evangelicos top priority;
community life. Through its various applications including but not limited to community
schedule, educational tools and social network, Keila will provide its members with a wide
social network that consists of appropriate materials to fit the Evangelical way of life and
moral standards, allowing them to enjoy all the benefits of digital interaction without
being exposed to inappropriate content.
Local communities and their individual members will have the opportunity to interact
online and be constantly updated with everything that goes on in their church,
congregation and organization. Through this platform and the many features and
applications it will provide, a local, socially based economy will be established.
Keila platforms will be based on the JerusCoin and members will use it when trading
amongst themselves or when dealing with affiliated businesses and service providers
inside the community.
The different tools and apps provided by the platform will address all aspects of daily
living in Evangelical parishes spanning finance, commerce, employment, innovation and
much more (all applications are explained in the designated chapter). Using the JerusCoin
in every daily activity will encourage the internal circulation of the token and increase the
social capital (the cultural capital in which social networks are central while transactions
are marked by reciprocity, trust, and cooperation) inside the parish and in the Evangelical
community as a whole. The system is constructed with the Latin American Evangelicos in
mind and will be later adjusted to fit other Evangelical communities in other countries,
according to specific needs.

a. Social Economy Social Economy is a term used to describe the relationship between economy and
social behavior, being examined after modern economic models have been
constantly failing with providing acceptable levels of social well-being for a
growing number of people23. The astronomic differences between the rich and the
poor continue to grow worldwide and Latin American countries are a part of this
statistic. The term has been long discussed by many scholars and governments, all
trying to establish a specific definition of what this economy is. While many
different definitions arose with time, there hasn’t been one to stick24. Social
economy holds the elements of mutuality, collective effort and social control over
capital, elements that are incorporated into the Keila platform in an effort to
empower local communities by giving them a socially based token.
b. Maintaining the Community’s
Structure While Empowering Its Members In Latin America, local Evangelical communities are very strongly knit and focused
around an influential community leader, a pastor that leads his parish in their day-
to-day lives. The new ecosystem will revolve around these local communities and
empower them, all the while respecting the individual needs and demands of the
pastors. The pastors will have their own interface, control panel and tools allowing
them to continue running their community while using the Keila platform and its
different organizational, communicational and educational tools.

We are here to empower the members and their parish, not to change the way
these communities are operating. The system architecture will allow privacy for
every pastor and church while also creating a virtual entity combining all churches
on the same city and country, giving them the power of unity and allowing them to
act for common goals and beliefs.
c. The Pillars of KeilaJewish-Christian ethics: based on
mutual love and respect for one
another. The important role that the
Holy Land and the Jewish people
hold in Evangelicos lives is what
gives the Keila platform its initial
spirit.
Mutual guarantee: understanding
the power a tightly knit community
holds and working towards
empowering one another with the
realization that the stronger the
community is, the stronger the
individual can be.
25 http://www.pewforum.org/2011/06/22/global-survey-beliefs/
Self-improvement: many join the
Evangelical communities in south
and Central America because they
believe this way of practicing their
religion can make them better
individuals25. Keila gives many
different tools of community
involvement that may indorse self-
improvement in various ways.
Spiritual strengthening: as
spiritual practice is very important
to some community members, the
Keila platform gives various tools of
reading, commenting, debating and
even quizzing on the Bible.
WP V2.0

d. How Will Community Members
Benefit from The Platform? Keila is designed to touch every aspect of a community members’ life. By using the
different platforms, individuals will empower themselves and the people around
them. Keila will;
- Strengthen the bond between a congregation and their organization.
- Strengthen the bond between individual members inside the
community.
- Encourage contribution inside the community.
- Encourage spiritual practice
- Bring technological advancements and developments to different
countries and communities.
e. The Keila Online Platform
Keila is first and foremost an organization tool, designed specifically for the
Evangelical communities in South and Central America. Every feature, from top to
bottom, was created with the community’s very specific structure in mind. The
Evangelical religion is, in practice, a much decentralized denomination. One of the
basic pillars of Evangelicalism is that there is no high priest, not ONE person that
determines guidelines all communities have to follow.
WP V2.0

All local communities do have a hierarchical structure and different levels of
pastors are in charge of communities, according to their rank.
The general community structure is congregation → church → organization,
meaning every member is a part of a congregation, every congregation is a part of a
church and every church is a part of an organization.
One of the most important things that came up during talks with pastors was the
importance of privacy in each organization needed to maintain this structure. With
this under consideration and as we wish to serve the communities as they are and
not disturb them in any way, our online platform will be based on different levels of
permissions, given to each member and pastor according to their role.
The first use case will be the Evangelical communities in South and Central
America, there for the initial design and language are fitted to those communities.
In the future, as Jerus expands and grows, adjustments will be made to fit specific
needs.
WP V2.0
© 2018, Jerus Global LTD. All Rights Reserved. 20
f. The Keila User Interface
- Registration: as a community member or pastor enters the platform for the
first time, he registers and ascribes himself to a specific church. If the church
already exists in the Keila database, it is already connected to a specific
congregation and organization. If the church is not in the database, the
member can use the “invitte a pastore” feature and the pastor can insert his
church, congregation and organization to the mix. Pastors who join can
invite other members of their church to join. Upon registration, every
participant gets his own profile which can be easily updated, in case
members move to a different village or city and, as a result, join a new
church.
- The pastors have their own permissions, according to individual rank. Every
pastor will have endless possibilities and ways of communicating with their
community members through different platform features. Pastors can post
publications regarding sermons or specific verses they wish to discuss, set
different community activities on the community calendar and receive
questions from their followers. The existing bond between pastor and
member can be made even stronger with the platform allowing an ongoing
connection and a broad network of faith constructed online.
- Community members can view all details regarding their church,
congregation and organization including publications, events and relevant
news. Members can view all other members of their organization and can
send direct messages to other members or pastors. The “Bible” feature
gives members an opportunity to view scriptures online, add questions or
comments they have on certain verses and create a discussion.

Keila will take local communities to the next, digital level by providing them with a
designated platform that incorporates all day-to-day needs of the individual
members and the community as a whole. The different applications integrated to
the platform will create an Evangelical ecosystem, which will be JerusCoin
dependent.

5. The Keila Platform Key
Activities
Giving all community members an easier way to communicate and organize
themselves is only the first step. Keila is here to harness the immense potential of
the Blockchain technology and use it to empower the individuals and strengthen
the community as a whole. The Jerus coin will be the economic force bringing all
applications together into a strong Keila (community).
With the day to day lives of the community and its individuals in mind, we are
developing numerous applications, each addressing a specific need. The following
are the first applications we will be implementing in the first versions of the
platform. With time and as the community grows stronger and more united, we are
certain more needs will arise from within the community and new applications will
be integrated to the platform.
The applications are divided into main branches;
- Market places
- Education and training
- Sharing economy (P2P, P2B, B2B, B2C)
- Finance services
- Crowd models
WP V2.0

a. Sharing Economy (P2P, P2B, B2B,
B2C) Sharing economy has been a key player in the global economy with mega companies like
Uber and Airbnb rising in the past decade. The Evangelical community in SA can greatly
benefit from such principles since community life are already based on giving and a desire
to help one another. An emphasis will be put on utilizing existing resources in the creation
of interdependence and co-existence, generating modest profit from individual
capabilities. We will use the power of community for local deliveries, excess food
distribution, professional advancements, hospitality & dining and more.
Moadon (second hand application): second hand, lending or hiring between
members. As one of the major principles leading the Evangelical lifestyle is mutual
responsibility, sharing things you have in an easy way will make this principle even
more approachable. Moadon (= members club in Hebrew) will enable each member
to rent out or sell tools or products he owns but does not need at a specific point in
time. For example, if a member owns a drill he can put it out for rent so that other
members of the community could use it, while paying with Jerus for the rent time.
The platform allows a changing price for different levels of closeness: a member
could loan his drill to his friends for 1 Jerus, his neighbors for 2 Jerus and people he
does not know for 3 Jerus per hour, for example. In addition to tools, service
providers like handyman, private tutors, plumbers etc., will be able to offer their
services to the community.
Yahad (platform for community purchases): Yahad means “coming together” in
Hebrew. Community members will be able to make wholesale purchases together
which will make prices of products to be lower as they will be purchased in bigger
quantities. Products will be delivered to the local church.

b. Education and Training
The teaching and learning of the bible has a very important role in the everyday
lives of Evangelicos. The education branch will provide both the pastors and their
followers with easy-to-use tools for strengthening their knowledge.
Keila support: ongoing support for
newcomers and stable users alike as
new tools will consistently be added
to Keila.
Bible tool for pastors: making
scriptures available online, making
it easier to get ready for sermons
and connect with your followers
through interpretations and
commentaries.
Trivia's: a tool to further engage all
members. Bible trivia with winners
gaining recognition and even Jerus
prizes from time to time.
Educational courses: as a part of
our efforts to enrich the local
communities, educational courses
will be integrated into Keila.
Education about first aid is
sometimes crucial for survival and
will be the first to appear on the
platform, so that members of the
community will be able to support
one another in times of specific
need.
c. Commerce and e-Commerce
One of the first ways we chose to introduce Blockchain to the community is through an e-
commerce platform which will be adjusted to the community’s needs, easy to navigate

and simple to use. The platform will be Blockchain based and trading will be conducted
with the JerusCoin, making it easy and safe.
- Online marketplace: local merchants will be promoted in the Keila
platform, allowing them an online presence and a great exposure.
Using the platform will empower small local businesses and offer the
members a bigger variety of products. The platform brings together
merchants and members who share the same set of values, making it
easier to find products that fit the specific needs of community
members.
- Local shops and services: together with online commerce, offline
efforts will be made to make sure we meet all the member’s needs.
Local stores and businesses owned by community members will be
affiliated with Keila and become an integral part of the Jerus
ecosystem. The shop will be promoted online, making them even
more available.
- The Israel Shop (products from Israel): the Jerus coin is based on
the strong bond Evangelicals have with the Holy Land and Jerusalem.
Evangelicals all over the world support Israel and many feel like it is
their obligation to visit, send donations and promote agendas they
see fit and according to their individual abilities. The Israel Shop will
connect the believers to Israel through e-commerce, allowing them to
purchase products directly from Israel. This allows a private
connection and influence that fits individual needs.
- Donations: hand in hand with the Israel Shop, the Donation Album
will provide a list of charities. Each member who wants to donate
may choose the charities to his liking. Each month a donation will be
made in Jerus coins and a card will be added to the album. Members

will be able to give to any charities that meet their set of values and
beliefs. Any amount will be received with much appreciation as the
issue here is about strengthening the connection with the holy land.
d. Crowd Models
Kulam - is a crowdfunding platform that leverages smart contracts. Crowdfunding has
changed the way individuals and organizations have been raising capital in recent years.
Kulam (“everybody” in Hebrew) will enable crowdfunding inside the local communities,
while giving a chance for entrepreneurship to develop and prosper.
e. Finance Services
In addition to the digital wallet and exchange (will be discussed on the technology
chapter), financial services will be facilitated through the Keila platform and the
JerusCoin. Members will be able to give micro loans to other community members, while
other applications for insurance and investments will be applicate further down the road.

6. Technology
a. Introduction All technological aspects of Jerus are as simplified as a digital wallet, exchange and
currency can be, to allow easy access and simple use for all members of the local
communities. User Interface is very simple and easy to navigate.
The main features of the Jerus product offering are as follows:
- Blockchain technology: our token issues on top of the Ethereum
Blockchain to be used in their local economy. The token will be based
in the Ethereum ERC-20 protocol, which allows projects to be based on
its powerful, shared infrastructure. Many ICO’s are currently Ethereum-
based, making it the go-to platform for Blockchain-based ventures. The
wide usage of Ethereum and the constant improvements made to the
platform, allows users in general and Jerus Global specifically to enjoy a
safe, secure, fast, flexible and durable network that fits the Jerus
needs.
- Exchange: Jerus will provide the legal framework and banking
facilities and operate all back office activities of the exchange as
required, such as deposit and withdrawal requests. AML/KYC checks
by us on a regular basis. This will allow community members to
“touch and feel” the people they are doing business with.
- B2C digital currency exchange: allows global users to transfer Fiat
currencies into Jerus’s bank accounts and convert their balance to
multiple currencies, which allows growth of our community in
different Latin American countries.

- Merchant payment services: allows local merchants to accept
digital currencies for goods or services, where Jerus received the
digital currency and convert it immediately to the merchant’s Fiat
currency of choice.
- KYC: to trade currencies, account holders need to verify their email
address and complete their contact details. To deposit, withdraw and
trade Fiat currencies, including remittance, account holders will
additionally have to provide photo ID and proof of address.
Recommendations to activate a two factor authentication are given throughout the
service.

The system was constructed around the community needs and is based on 3 main
principles;
- User friendliness: providing an intuitive platform where one can
deposit multiple Fiat currencies and exchange them for other digital
currencies, and do so in their own language, as Jerus aims to offer the
most user friendly currency exchange on the market.
- Trust: providing a truly localized exchange service through Jerus’s
Blockchain-enabled platform, allows people to trust the source of
their digital currencies.
- Usability: by adding the merchant services to the exchange platform,
Jerus offers the end user the ability to use their digital currency in
their local stores, thus truly opening up the markets for both the
members and merchants of the community.
b. The Jerus Exchange
Jerus provides the opportunity for community members and business owners to
get a fully functioning exchange. The system provides all standard functionality for
cryptocurrency and fiat currency trading, as well as several unique features, all
made simple with an intuitive user interface. Today, many local community
members do not have a bank account. Business owners joining the ecosystem will
be “cashiers”, helping other members to purchase their tokens. This will be the
formation of community-based “banks” based on mutual trust.

7. Token Economics and ICO
a. The JerusCoin
The JerusCoin will be the infrastructure of a new, Evangelico monetary system.
This new financial realm will empower all Evangelicos alike; no matter what
country they are from, what organization they belong to or what their
socioeconomic status is. It is the building block of the Keila platform and the
ecosystem it supports, consisting of different applications and functions, all
curated specifically for the local Evangelical communities of Latin America.
The JerusCoin was constructed in order to address issues that arose during long
discussions with pastors, community leaders and community members in different
Latin American countries. These influencers provided an inside look on the daily
struggles some of the communities go through including the lack of resources for
social projects and enterprises, and the development of new churches or
communities. The individual member’s needs were also examined and discussed
and an important subject that kept coming up was the fact that many Evangelicos
are not fulfilling their economic potential in the neoliberal societies they live in.
During the token’s design process, we considered different elements regarding
these special communities;
- The importance of Jerusalem for Evangelicos: for most
Evangelicals and Evangelicos in particular, Israel and Jerusalem
represent the second coming of Jesus and is very important to their
WP V2.0

faith and practice of it26. The JerusCoin, developed by Jewish
founders who are extremely close to Latin American communities,
bares this special connection between the two societies and strives to
create a bond that is even more profound. Special features like the
Israeli Store, donation platform and Jerusalem Trips, which will be
explained later on, will take this long-distance relationship to a
practical level.
- Community structure: the special and specific structure of
Evangelist communities in Latin America is well planned into the
design of JerusCoin. The hierarchical structure, the importance of the
pastor and the need for privacy and confidentiality between the
different communities are all an integral part of the token and the
ecosystem it facilitates.
- Community life: Jerus will be the founding block of the “Keila”
platform, an ecosystem structured to attend all aspects of an average
day of a community member. One cryptocurrency for all Evangelicos
in Latin America will allow them to trade amongst themselves while
leveraging all of the advantages Blockchain has to offer. One financial
system built on evangelical ideology and beliefs will allow a stronger,
more united community to form.

d. Use of Proceeds
Marketing: 40%
R&D: 20%
Operations, accounting and Legal: 20%
Contingency: 15%
Advisors: 5%
Marketing: the purpose of JerusCoin is to be the token of the Evangelical
communities in Latin America, thus our number one priority in fund distribution is
marketing and market penetration. Together with pastors from different
communities, local agents who are familiar with the local communities and are
also tech savvy will be recruited for the Keila platform implementation. The first
pilots will begin in the Dominican Republic and Mexico while other countries such
as Brazil, Guatemala and Venezuela will be added to our marketing efforts at a later
stage. The need for on-the-field agents, working to give the local communities an
accessible, approachable experience will be the first phase of the project since the
purpose of the coin is creating a local ecosystem.
WP V2.0

R&D: the Keila platform is ready for use as an organizational tool. Other tools
discussed in the applications chapter are to be added gradually as members start
using the platform and the token. The development of these applications and the
extensive research made to perfectly tailor all applications to the specific use of the
local communities will be addressed with these funds.
Operations, Business Development, Legal and Accounting: in order to achieve
meaningful collaborations with local business owners, shops and vendors,
substantial funds will be allocated. All company operations and third party
consultants will be added to this section.
Contingency: with big plans of penetrating hundreds of local communities in
different countries, unplanned expenses will surely arrive sooner than later. 15% of
funds raised will be held for these unexpected costs.
WP V2.0

e. Incentive System
As we wish to create an ecosystem based on token usage, a percentage of the
tokens will be allocated to an incentive pool, set to release incentives for the first
years of operations. An incentive system has been prepared, with community
interests in mind;
10% “cashback” will be given upon opening a digital wallet. Meaning, if a member
opens up a wallet and purchases 60 Jerus token in this first activity, 6 token will be
given to him and he will start his JerusCoin use with 66 JerusCoins in his digital
wallet.
5% “cashback” for every purchase made via JerusCoin: once a member makes a 20
worth Jerus purchase, they get 1 Jerus back.
- Jerus Points: one of the main goals of the Keila platform is to
motivate the members and encourage their chosen lifestyle and
beliefs. The Jerus Points system was created for this reason and is
based on a thing that holds great importance to the Evangelicos;
Bible practice. We developed various applications for the pastors who
will be able to create questionnaires, games and other tools to
engage their followers. Points will be given according to the different
applications and will be accumulated in the member’s individual
account.
- 10% of income generated by a specific church and its members will
be given back to the church, to support community related projects
and activities.
- A 10% “cashback” will be given upon opening a digital wallet.
Meaning, if a member opens up a wallet and purchases 60 Jerus

token in this first activity, 6 token will be given to him and he will start
his JerusCoin use with 66 JerusCoins in his digital wallet.
A portion of the incentive pool will be given as an incentive to “high rollers”,
according to points accumulated.
Giving back to the community: as we wish to empower the local communities and
have a deep and sincere obligation to do so, a percentage of Jerus Global revenues
will be invested back into local communities, in accordance to specific needs and
requests made by the members.

a. Core Team The idea for Jerus Global, the Keila platform and the JerusCoin comes from a deep

together for a strong relationship based on mutual respect and understanding.
The extensive technological background, that comes both from a development and an
investment point of view, is what allowed this project to come to life - while incorporating
all the knowledge regarding the local communities, gathered during years of working side
by side.
