Job Summary
The Research Analyst will be principally responsible for interpreting data, formulating reports
and making recommendations based upon the research findings. To accomplish this task, the

Market Research Analyst works with the client (either internal or external) to understand,
define, document and executing the research project. The Research Analyst applies qualitative
and quantitative techniques to interpret the data and produce substantiated
recommendations.
Duties and Responsibilities
y Prepare and submit Request for proposals (RFPs) and other required researchdocumentation.
y Prepare tables, graphs, fact sheets, and written reports summarizing research results.y Provide assistance in the design of survey instruments such as questionnaires.y Track research participants, and perform any necessary follow-up tasks.y Verify the accuracy and validity of data entered in databases; correct any errors.y Perform needs assessments and/or consult with clients in order to determine the types
of research and information that are required.y Supervise the work of survey interviewers.y Perform descriptive and multivariate statistical analyses of data, using computer
software.
y Administer standardized tests to research subjects, and/or interview them in order tocollect research data.
Working Conditions:
Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10-20%
of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are
adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment
available.
Qualification and Skills Requirements
y A minimum of 3 to 5 years within the Research industryy 1 to 3 years of industry/sector experience will be given preferencey Strong analytic and critical thinking skillsy Exceptional written, oral, and presentation communication abilitiesy Expertise with Excel, PowerPoint, and SPSS/SASy Bachelors or advanced degree in business, mathematics, or the sciences

Physical Requirements
Incumbentmust be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English. Must have good
vision and should be comfortable in travelling to clients and for field survey and monitoring.
Organizational Analysis and Job Analysis
As per the organizations profile which creates a niche in the social research sector and
providing advisory/consulting services in social and development sector which needs research
based on facts and figures and needs expertise in research domain. Along with this it needs
good communication skills both oral and written the work as incumbent has to meet clients and
other stakeholders and present them the findings in form of report and oral presentations.
Since this job demands data analysis and the entire project management details which
demands for strong analytical and critical thinking skills. So the Job description and
