FluidINOVA, using the NETmix® technology, developed and patented in partnership with INEB, National Institute for Biomedical Engineering, a new process for controlling at the molecular level the calcium and phosphate reaction to produce hydroxyapatite nanoparticles, creating a novel product line - nanoXIM•HAp.
HAp, hydroxyapatite is a biomaterial used in production of bone grafts for orthopedic and dental applications, and for coating of metallic implants.
In the pharmaceutical field, HAp nanoparticles, are being used as a bioresorbable carrier material for controlled drug delivery in the treatment of diseases such as cancer, osteoporosis, osteomyelitis and diabetes.
Comestics and chromatography.
