• Utilized MCNPX, MATLAB, and SRIM code packages for radiation transport analysis of various cyclotron
target geometries. Developed a MATLAB code package for generalized targetry optimization and analysis.

• Improved Visual Basic code to pull real-time reactor core offload and reload data into a graphical
spreadsheet for Outage Control Center tracking.
• Updated Flow-Accelerated Corrosion susceptibility flow diagrams and developed an optimized process for
future changes.
• Performed friction loss calculations for fire protection piping via the Hazen-Williams formula using
measurements taken from drawings and system walk downs.

• Performed research published in the Journal of Nuclear Materials pertaining to CRUD formation on fuel rod
cladding for the Consortium for Advanced Simulation of Light Water Reactors (CASL) program.
• Worked with national laboratory researchers to transition atomic theory and computational results to
engineering codes.

• Updated and maintained naval nuclear technical work documents and procedures for the refueling of the
U.S.S. Lincoln's (CVN-72) A4W reactor.
