TRACK
At the track meet on 5/16/2016, the 4X100 relay team of Curtis Hamilton, Daiyon Ander-
son, Caleb Moxon, and Isyah Jackson broke a school record that dates back to the 1970’s.
They ran the 4X100 in 48 seconds which bet the old record by 1.8 seconds. They broke this
record by working as a team, feverishly practicing handoffs, and of course running very
fast. Congratulations to the 4X100 relay team and the entire track team for a wonderful win-
ning season.
The Beer track teams went undefeated this season. The boy’s team dominated the relays at
the league meet winning all of them while the girl’s team was led by many individual first
place finishes. It’s very unusual for both the boys and girls teams at one school to make it
through without a loss but the dedication, commitment and talent of this year’s 2 teams won
out all spring, a BIG congratulations to all the members of this year’s Track Champions!!!
