In 1976 Syria entered Lebanon & for the next 33 years occupied Lebanon. Syria fought Israel for control of South
Lebanon.
In the 1990s, Syria engaged in
negotiations with Israel that
ultimately failed.
Since 2011, Syria has been in a
vicious Civil War after an uprising against Assad’s government.
Over 2.1 million Syrian refugees have fled Syria!
